Once a blogger, always a blogger. Right?!
I previously wrote a blog about my life in general, going through college, trying to build a photography business, and dating an amazing guy. I got caught up in life and ended that blog about a year and a half later. Fast forward, I was engaged and my life was all about weddings! So naturally, I created a wedding blog. Getting closer to our big day and lack of internet service quickly ended that one. So here we are.
I've had the urge to write again a lot lately. Tonight, while doing laundry, a title for this blog struck. Y'all know the saying "you can't turn a hoe into a housewife". Now mind you, I'm not a "hoe" by any means but the saying always gives me the giggles when certain "housewife" things happen...and tonight, boy did it ever.
Justin and I went through 3 months sans washer and dryer. The apartment community that we live at has a laundry-mat, and that's what we have used for the most part living here. So weekly, I'd go up to the laundry-mat and do a ton of clothes all at once. It was too much for me. We finally have our own so that I'm able to sort our clothes, use stain removal, etc. You know, all the great things that there are to do with laundry, right?! Well tonight, while washing a load of towels, I started pulling out towels and noticed that one or two had blue spots. I figured they were old towels and that they were old stains...turns out ALL of our towels had blue spots...some were extremely large! After pulling out over half of the load, I found the culprit. The brand new navy blue beach towel. Great! Just great!

So this and other "housewife" events has inspired this blog. I hope y'all get a kick out of my clumsy, married-lady musings. I promise, I'm pure entertainment. I hope y'all can help with my lack of cooking knowledge as well as other things like budgets, cleaning, dinner parties, interior design, and diy...all things I am far from being good at.
Oh and last but not least, after being married for 8 (I think) months, I'm finally changing my name this week and we are joining our bank accounts!
Yikes!
I recently was on vacation and I stayed at my boss's beach house in Florida. She had all of these expensive white towels. When I did the laundry of course I threw my hot pink beach towel in with her white towels. I freaked out when I saw the results. Thank God I was able to bleach it out.
